New Litters

Born May 20, 2007
Gray's Evan x Gray's Penny

Litter of 12, all red.  My very first successful New Zealand litter.  And TWELVE babies, holy cow!  Certianly there will be plenty of reds at least to choose from for my meat pen this year. lol  This is also very good for the variety as it is a rare variety of rabbit.

Born May 20, 2007
Scott's Polyanna x Colluci's Domino

Litter of 4, 2 black, 2 broken black.  Domino's only litter as he was gotten rid of due to snuffles.  Whelp, I still didn't get the broken chocolate I was hoping for.  Guess I'll have to just keep trying.  But I have high hopes for these babies as they come from two excellent parents.

Born May 23, 2007
Johnson's J4 x Roger's Kalvin

Litter of 5, 2 died; all white (2b 1d).  This, her second litter was again born on the wire, but this time I was able to save 3 of them, enough for a meat pen!  I am keeping the doe and selling both bucks after Fair.  So far they are growing well and all are BIG with FAT tummies!

Expected litters

Bred June 9, 2007
Zimmerman's AT229 x Zimmerman's Bruce

This is my first lilac to choc pairing.  I have heard wonderful things about pairing these colors, and now I'm trying it myself.  Hoping for the dark chocs you can't tell from the blacks!

Bred June 10, 2007
Scott's ? x Scott's Zachariah

Have to decide who to breed this buck to before he is sent out for processing.  He has unfortunately contracted snuffles and I want to preserve his bloodline.  He is an awesome rabbit, and I plan on pairing him to a good doe, in hopes of good babies.  His fur is wonderful as well, something I'd like his babies to inherit!

WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU KEEP A RABBIT WITH SNUFFLES? You shouldn't even consider using the rabbit for breeding as health does have a genetic aspect to it as well.
